Overshot Weaving

Recently, I picked up another shuttle so that I could dive into learning overshot.  Reading about this technique made it feel a little overwhelming in the beginning but once I got started it just seemed to flow. I’m loving the rhythm I find working with this technique and the lovely curves you can produce. I’m just in the beginning stages but I can’t wait to try out more!

The yarn I’ve chosen for this project is Fleece & Harmony‘s fingering weight yarn in the natural sheep color for the warp, a Fleece & Harmony laceweight single for the tabby, and some really beautiful hand dyed fingering in BFL from Riverside Studio as the pattern weft.

Happy Friday all!
