WIP Wednesday – Like Berries on a Bush

I’ve fallen head-over-heels for this colorway by Hello Yarn!  This 4oz bump of Falkland was the February 2017 club offering and the colors couldn’t be more delightful.  Plus, the fibre is soft and fluffy and super easy to spin.  I’m allllllmost finished spinning the single and then it is on to chain-plying it goes. I actually had a really hard time trying to decide whether I wanted to ply it or not (I still think that singles in this colorway would be amazing!) but plying won out in the end. There is just something about a chain ply that gets me every time 😉

In other news, it looks like we’re going to have a couple of really nice spring days here so I’m looking forward to getting out in the garden. My garlic and mache are growing very well and the kiddos and I have planted lots of other seeds already. We’ve been enjoying sautéed dandelion greens along with our suppers and we’ve been hunting for fiddleheads, which are such a tasty spring treat.  Spring has really sprung and with it, we’re enjoying more and more time outdoors 🙂

Happy Wednesday all!
