FO Friday – White Caps and Wildflowers

Two new finished projects to share with you today. One knitting and one spinny and each one made from materials from my favorite yarn and fibre spots.

First up is a second pair of White Caps Fingerless Gloves in Fleece & Harmony‘s yummy fingering weight yarn. The yarn is a blend of wool from their own sheep and 20% locally grown alpaca. I love the natural cream color and it is so soft and squooshy. Such a treat to knit with!
Speaking of soft and squooshy … next up is this week’s new spinning project.  This is a luscious blend of alpaca, merino, mohair, and silk.  Since it is carded fibre, I opted to spin this up using long draw and the resulting yarn is light, air, and oh so soft.  It is also super cozy.  I wish that I had pounds of this fibre to play with.

Hope you’re all having a wonderful week and that you find some time for craft.
Happy Friday everyone!
