I’ve been enjoying a bit more creative time lately so I have three finished projects to share with you today.
First up is Ice Crystal Children’s Hat. I used some of my beaded art yarn paired with teal and white colored merino yarns to make a fun and sparkly hat that I feel perfectly embodies the spirit of winter.
Next up is a spin in one of my absolute FAVOURITE wools … Gotland! This was the December club shipment from Spunky Eclectic. The colorway is “Afraid of the Dark” and, I feel, it amplifies the natural beauty of this wool. I chose to split this fiber in half lengthwise and to spin up two close-to-matching singles before plying. I’m really happy with it and while I have listed it in my Etsy shop, I may not be able to stay out of it 😉
And last, but certainly not least, is Domino’s wool. This yarn turned out soooo well. I love the lightly semi-solid color that resulted from spinning chocolate brown locks with lighter tips. This yarn is so pouffy and would make really amazing mittens … especially if used for a colorwork project.
Hope that you’re all had a fantastic week and that you’ve found some time for crafting.
Happy Friday all!
