I chose a lovely rust colored icelandic wool for the warp, a semi-solid grey wool/silk blend for the weft, and paired it up with a gently curving weaving pattern that made me think of rising woodsmoke. The bag has been lightly fulled to increase its sturdiness and lined with a pretty printed cotton. I’m so happy with how it turned out.
I have plans for lots more of these (some in handspun, of course!) and I’m in the process of warping my loom with some locally grown wool 😉 Be sure to check back to see the work-in-progress shots!
Hope you’re all having a lovely week!
