Wednesday’s project is all finished up, washed, blocked, and ready for its new home. I’m pretty happy with how it came out, especially since I just winged it as far as the pattern goes. In my own defense, I did try to chart the crown but, after tossing I don’t know how many sheets of graph paper in the fire, I just decided to figure it out as I went and it worked out well.
On the spinning front, I have a shot of some lovely handspun BFL to share with you. This was the October club offering of Spunky Eclectic fibre in “Be the LIght” colorway. I adore both the name and the fiber. I chose to spin it up as a DK weight chain ply and really like how it turned it. It will make a really lovely chat or cowl.
That’s all that’s new with me for this week. How about you? Finish up anything new? Do tell!
Happy Friday all!
