It is a kind of gloomy and grey day here so I’m very happy to share a bright and cheery finished project with you all today. I can honestly say that, since completing this Inspira Cowl, I’m hooked and want to knit more with lots of different color combos and, of course, handspun yarns.
This cowl in particular was knit in Knit Picks Chroma Fingering yarn in Fog Bank, Lake Front, and Vermont colorways. I used the mods noted on knitsandpots project page for a larger version of the cowl that can be slipped over both shoulders but upped my needle size to 3.5mm. It used a partial ball of the Lake Front and Vermont colorways and I used a whole ball plus a portion a second in Fog Bank. I really like the size and cosiness of the finished cowl and the Chroma makes it very soft and snugly.
That’s all the news I have to share with you for now … other than I started a new pair of handspun mittens last night 😉 Hope you all have a wonderful weekend and find some time for craft.
Happy Friday all!
