David Suzuki – Nature Is Calling

For the month of May, we participated in David Suzuki’s 30 x 30 Nature Challenge. People were challenged to spend at least 30 minutes a day, for the month of May, outdoors and enjoying their natural surrounding. Some of the fun activities we did outdoors during May where:

  • hiking
  • running
  • biking
  • canoeing
  • yoga / kettlebell/ circuit training
  • homeschool work
  • LOTS of reading
  • even some knitting and spinning

All, but two, of the photos were taken within walking/running/biking distance of our home. Some of the places we visted were:

  • Machon’s Point Shore
  • Dalys Beach
  • Guernsey Cove
  • Beach Point
  • The Confederation Trail

Spending time outdoors is a huge part of our life and we thoroughly enjoyed  this challenge.  I documented our daily adventures on Instagram and hope that all those who participated enjoyed their time as much as we did.  I find it very inspiring to see what other folks are doing with their outdoor time and love seeing them share their adventures and favourite green space where the live.  We look forward to next participating in next year’s challenge and continuing our time (often all day) outdoors!
