I’m starting to get my crafty groove back after this weekend’s craziness. I guess sometimes you just need a “do nothing” day to reset and recharge. A fresh mind is a wonderful thing!
My most recent project is another Sleeping Beauty Cowl which has been a requested by a friend. You all know how much I adore colorwork, so I jumped to the task. This cowl is knit in only two colors, as opposed to the eight that the pattern calls for, and I think that it is simply charming! The main color that I’ve chosen, The Unique Sheep’s Lux Gradiance in Peacock, is a really fantastic tussah silk/merino blend and I paired it off with Shibui Knits Cima in “Ash” which is a buttery soft blend of baby alpaca and merino. These yarns are both a treat for the fingertips!
I started knitting yesterday and simply couldn’t put the project down. I’m only about 10 rows shy of finishing!
So what are you working on, on this sunny Wednesday? Do share!
