Nemo hit here around 4:30am.  This storm is supposed to dump a large amount of snow on Kings County but right now it just seems to be mainly blowing it around.  I decided to take a little trek through the field to try and get some fun storm pictures to share.  The drifts are fairly deep in places but the going wasn’t too bad.  The wind on the other hand is really quite strong and cold and is snapping lots of branches off our trees.  I’m very glad that we are all snuggled up at home today!

I love snowstorms! Makes me feel like knitting or sewing next to the wood stove.

Beautiful photographs. I love the one of the blowing snow. Reminds me of home. We don’t have nearly the snow you do, but I can’t seem to do anything but sit and drink coffee and look out the window.
