Mama’s got a new hat! I finished up my Rosebud this week and I’m really quite happy with how it turned out. I ended up knitting the shorter version of the hat, as I chose to use aran weight yarn, and the hat turned out with the perfect amount of slouch for my liking. This was such a quick and fun knit!
Tonight, Ben Harper and I are practicing with my fire hoop for my first burn (which will hopefully be next week!). Not too much knitting planned for this evening but I did start a new Stephen West shawl pattern in some really lovely handspun Wensleydale. Be sure to stay tuned for this week’s WIP Wednesday post to find out more and to get a few sneak peeks!
Hope you all have an amazing weekend!

This is lovely! Good luck on fire hooping!
Thanks! It should be interesting!
I love it! I may need to spin up some chunky yarn and make one for myself, suits you very much :O)
Your idea sounds lovely! I hope that you enjoy Rosebud as well!
