I ventured out to Govinda’s Farm today to visit with Kokum Lal and had the pleasure of spending some time with the new twin calves. Despite their mother, sadly, passing away earlier this week, the dear little calves are THRIVING. They are spritely and curious and full of life. And growing quite rapidly. The little bull calf had a merry time nibbling on my coat hem, sucking on my mittens, and nuzzling into my legs. I look forward to getting to know these beautiful little guys better!
After leaving the farm, I took advantage of the amazing weather we’re having and hit Beck Trail for some snowshoeing. Even though I busted a strap and had to carry my shoes for the last couple of kms, it was very enjoyable afternoon in the woods. Above are a few of the pictures I’ve taken while on the trail today.
Can’t wait to get out on the trail again and do some more exploring!

I love snowshoeing too! I haven’t been able to do any for years now because I work out West in the winter.
You’ll have to take a pair out with you and then send me some pictures! I never been out West … yet
Great pictures!
Thanks Judy!
Nice pictures!! How many
kms did you do?
I did the red loop, so just a little bit over 4kms. I’m looking forward to hitting the blue trail next …
