Winter has arrived here in Prince Edward Island, and with it, community school. A lot of people around our village eagerly anticipate this time of year … a chance to learn new things, to socialize and catch up with friends, and a really fun way to pass the winter. I’ve decided to take the photography class again this year because I had so much fun with what I learned last year.
Our homework this week is to set our cameras to aperture priority and to experiment. So naturally, I was looking for a subject to photograph and, lucky for me, Bugsy was a great sport and let me take a ton of pictures of him. He was incredibly patient as I fussed with camera settings and sat very still while I snapped away. He’s such a great buddy, plus, he’s really quite handsome.
Do you have any fun Winter (or Summer, if you’re in the Southern Hemisphere) plans? Working on any new hobbies? I’d love to hear all about it!

He is a handsome fella! Looks a lot like my Tiger! They could be brothers!
He truly is the handsome fella and I’m sure a true companion
He is gorgeous and is looking at you so lovingly.
Gorgeous cat! I’m going to try and expand my photography skills this year and not just stick to the Intelligent Auto mode!!!
Thanks Sue. Isn’t photography amazing and interesting? There is so much to learn!
A real handsome cat. I love the look he gives you, so adoring. Purrrfect model for your photography!
He he he. He is pretty purrrrrfect
Lovely pic of your cat (coming from somebody who is not a cat -err not a pet- person…
Nothing really new, because of the university I rarely have time for my current hobbies as it is… Waving though is still bugging me away, and I am still looking for “my” loom…
