I came across this recipe last year for really amazing cookies. They taste so much like peanut butter cups and when you make them with natural peanut butter, they are perfection. I don’t make them very often so when I do decide to bake them, they disappear rather quickly.
In fiber news, I am only 1 ounce away from reaching my spinning goal of 12 lbs this year. I can hardly believe it! I’m hoping that by the end of today, I’ll be able to report that I have officially reached my goal. I’m not going to rest on my laurels though, no sir! I plan to keep spinning away and trying new fibers, dyers, and preparations. Kirby suggested that once I gather all of my 2012 handspun together for a picture. Once all the yarn has been washed and dryed, I’ll hopefully have a few shots of my stash to share.
Hope you all have a sweet Saturday!

Oh those look good and thanks much for the link to the recipe – I’ll have to make these!
You’re most welcome
They really are delicious!
I “pinned” this to my recipes on Pinterest this morning. Looks like a great recipe – thanks!
I completely forgot about Pinterest. I should pin it as well as I like having all my favorite online recipes at my fingertips!
Thanks for the recipe – look wonderful! Congrats on your spinning – can’t wait to see the pictire.Happy Spinning!
Thanks Elaine.
The Girls and I made these tonight Simone. They are delicious! I love that there are plenty of jobs for everyone, Cassie was forming the chocolate balls while Abbey and I were filling them with the peanut butter mixture and then both girls rolled them in the sugar while I flattened them. Add a large glass of milk…perfection:-)
They’re definitely a fun family project. Only problem is, we seem to end up with less cookie dough than we should because we like to sample!
