I had been planning to release this pattern at the end of August realized that I would rather wait until it was officially Autumn to post it. To me, it felt a little strange to post mittens in August, even though tons of pattern designers do it. I wanted to wait for that little bit of chill to the air in the mornings.
These mittens, although very basic looking, are a fun twist on traditional construction as they are worked from the fingertips down using the magic loop method.
I chose to knit them in fingering weight handspun so I would have a nice pair of mittens for the fall that were cozy enough to combat the frosts but not too warm to wear while out for my daily run.
