Los Verdes Giveaway

Today, I’m very excited to bring you a new giveaway!

My super sweet fiber sister and fellow blogger, Tina Sanders of PeacefullyKnitting.com, created and released the beautiful Los Verdes  pattern in May and I have just been dying to try out.  I love the quote she uses in the pattern description:

Green is the prime color of the world and that from which its loveliness arises.” ~ Pedro Calderon de la Barca (1600 – 1681)

What a perfect quote for this delightful design!  Tina also says, “This is a very simple reversible design that offers an easy to memorize stitch pattern throughout making this a quick knit project!”

The pattern calls for 432 yards of worsted weight yarn and 4.0mm needles.  Los Verdes is pictured in Springtree Road Philomath Worsted, a luscious 100% superwash merino yarn in very enticing colors.

beautiful pattern!! I love the mixture of lace stitches and “solid” stitches, especially on the neck to keep the crisp cold air out.

This is a lovely pattern. I could see this made up for my daughter in a celery green and for my son-in-law in a deep forest green.

What a beautiful pattern! I am a “sucker” for leaves in knitting designs. I just love nature in general…I live in the mountains of West Virginia so I am surrounded by “nature”.
