As I mentioned in a post a week ago, I finished up spinning 1 lb of luxury singles for my Croci Sweater and I wanted to share with you all a picture of the finished yarn. It is bright and colorful and UNBELIEVABLY soft. I’ve started knitting the sweater and the yarn is very Noro-silk-garden-ish. The pattern is perfect for showing off handspun. I’m really loving it and will post progress pics of the sweater soon.
On another note, I’m in the process of getting a brand new hat pattern ready for release. Yay! It is currently being test knit by some really awesome gals and I’m hoping to have it live on February 1st.
Does anyone want some hints on the new pattern?
Sure you do!
So, not to give anything away, I’ll leave you with these hints:
- Knit in fingering weight yarn
- Its stranded color work
- Corresponds with an upcoming holiday
- A watch cap-ish style (unusual for me I know, but I really couldn’t resist for this one!)
Be sure to check back often as I will be posting a sneak peek of the pattern very soon.
Until then, happy knitting and spinning!
